ORIGINAL ACTIVITIES FOR CORPORATE EVENTS

team building dance

We create collective choreographies that genuinely energise the team, not just entertain it.

When a team dances in time, something changed in their heads first

Dance is the most honest language of the collective body. In 90 minutes a group that has never co-ordinated can put together a three-minute number that gets the rest of the room on its feet. It is not magic: it is listening, synchrony and a shared decision to take the stage together.

At DTB we have been doing this for years. Our facilitators are working dancers and choreographers, not entertainers. They read the group, adapt the choreography to its real level, and get a result the company remembers for months.

Our dance team building activities

Six different formats for different teams, sizes and objectives. All of them end with the group genuinely taking the stage, recording included (except the Lip Dub, where the recording is the activity).

Movie Songs Team Building

Thriller, Mamma Mia, Grease and more. Each group picks a theme, rehearses separately and closes with a talent show. It works with teams looking for something recognisable with emotional punch.

Boom
Whackers

Colour, rhythm and co-ordination in a highly visual and accessible activity. Perfect for large groups and for getting everyone involved from the very first minute.

Body Percussion

The Body Percussion Team Building turns the team into a large orchestra with no instruments at all. It is a fast-moving, visual and accessible format, perfect for working on listening, synchronisation, presence and cohesion in a direct, surprising and enjoyable way.

Cajón
Flamenco

The Cajón Flamenco Team Building is an original and highly participatory activity in which the group discovers the power of rhythm through a warm, elegant proposal with plenty of character. Ideal for organisations looking for an authentic, accessible musical experience with a distinctive touch.

Collaborative Anthem

An experience that builds a shared identity through music. The group takes part in creating a song of its own, with a final result that is highly symbolic and memorable

MUSICAL
BINGO

A playful, fast-moving and very accessible format, perfect for groups looking for interaction, fun and connection through recognisable songs and team dynamics.

What dance team building brings to a team

Dance forces something no PowerPoint ever manages: looking at each other, listening to each other and moving at the same time. Whoever leads the office on Monday does not necessarily lead the choreography. Whoever speaks least in meetings sometimes turns out to have the best sense of rhythm. Those shifts in role stay in place when the team goes back to work. That is why dance is one of the most transformative team building activities in our catalogue.

What dance trains: non-verbal listening, adapting to your partner, trust in the group, controlled exposure, celebrating the result.

We are not an agency that subcontracts. We are dancers and choreographers.

The difference shows in the first five minutes. Our facilitators have been on a stage before standing in front of your team. They know how to read the energy of the room, adjust the choreography if the group is overloaded or bored, and ask for exactly the level each person can give that day.

That is what makes the people who arrived saying “I don’t dance” end up dancing — and posting the video on LinkedIn.

Why choose dance for your company's team building

It breaks the ice naturally

The body goes ahead of the word. Moving together disarms hierarchy and shyness within minutes, with no "introduce yourself with something funny" exercises

It adapts to any level

You do not need to know how to dance. The choreography is built on what the group can give. A senior team, a junior one and a mixed one all come out well: the facilitation adjusts how much it asks for.

It leaves a visible deliverable

The closing video gets shared on the company Slack on Monday. It is tangible proof that the team did something together, and it lasts longer than any presentation.

Which kinds of team tend to suit dance best

Teams that want to build energy and participation

Particularly useful at conventions, kick-offs, internal meetings or away days where you need to break the ice and lift the group's involvement.

Organisations looking for a creative, different experience

Ideal for those who want to step outside the usual corporate routine and offer something more original, more human and more memorable.

Groups that are diverse in age, profile or department

Music helps create common ground even when the team does not know each other well or does not work together day to day.

Let's talk about your next event

Not every group is looking for the same thing. Some need a high-energy experience with immediate participation. Others want something more creative, more emotional or more focused on collaboration. That is why our music team building category brings together different formats, each with its own personality, pace and purpose.
